Biography
Ryan Perry serves as Senior Pastor of Good Hope Baptist Church and is a PhD-trained Biblical Theologian specializing in canonical biblical theology—teaching Scripture as one unified redemptive story rather than a collection of disconnected texts. With over 20 years of ministry and educational experience, Ryan has served as a senior pastor, youth minister, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) leader, and classroom teacher.
This breadth of experience enables him to communicate deep biblical truth with clarity and precision to adults, leaders, and students alike. His teaching integrates academic rigor, pastoral responsibility, and classroom-tested communication, equipping believers to read the Bible faithfully from Genesis to Revelation and to live shaped by the whole counsel of God.
Youth & Student Ministry Focus
Drawing on years of youth ministry, FCA leadership, and school teaching, Ryan helps students:
• Read the Bible as a coherent story rather than isolated verses
• Develop a resilient Christian identity before cultural pressure reshapes them
• Understand temptation, obedience, and faith through the lens of identity
• Build confidence in Scripture amid skepticism and confusion
• Connect faith, character, and daily life with theological depth and clarity
